Equipment and presentation

Dan’s preferred setup is a neck microphone, illuminated lectern, Society-provided presentation pointer, leads, laptop and projector. These are preferences, not requirements — please indicate what the Society or venue can provide.

Apple Mac M2 laptop, macOS version 14.5, with the necessary adapters.

Dan will provide the presentation on a USB memory stick in Microsoft PowerPoint for Mac, version 16.109.3.

The provider of any equipment must ensure that it is in full working order, compatible and fit for purpose.

Travel, accommodation and expenses

Dan’s preference is to travel by train. Where rail is not practical, travel may be by car at 55p per mile. Exact rail times and fares are often not known when a booking is first made, so these details may be confirmed later. Nothing in this section is required now.
